Operations Manager - Materials Warehouse
Great Opportunity to join the management team at an industry leading logistics company!
We are looking for Operations Managers (Days and Afternoons) for our Brownstown (downriver), MI Material Sequencing Center.
Responsibilities:
Managing the operations of a warehouse/Sequencing Center and leading Supervisors and staff to top performance
Maintain quality and performance objectives
Assist in cost control programs
Coordinate safety and compliance issues and provide operational support for contract
-Customer (Big 3) communication and presentations
Requirements:
Proven management skills (3+ years) in a warehouse environment (ideally automotive)
Excellent interpersonal, communication and computer skills
A Bachelors degree is preferred, with a plus for logistics or transportation
Self-starting, detail oriented, and highly motivated
-Must thrive in a fast paced, results oriented environment with multiple deadlines
