YELLOW IRON HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC

 

Rabanco Recycling / Allied Waste based in the Seattle Metro Area has two openings for Heavy Equipment Mechanics.  We are a large recycling and transfer station.

 

Responsibilities:

Repair and maintenance of all rolling stock at both 3rd and Lander and Black River facilities to include trucks, trailers, forklifts, wheel-loaders, track-loaders, top picks, excavators, man-lifts etc. Responsibilities will also include occasional work on plant equipment and facility repairs.

Must be a self-starter and able to work alone.

Must be able to work all shifts and work holidays.

Must be a team player.

 



Qualifications:

1. CDL (Commercial Drivers License) required or able to obtain one in 30 days.

2. 5+ years of heavy equipment and truck/trailer mechanical experience with some plant experience.

3. Excellent welding and fabrication skills.

4. Great previous employment references with exceptionally good attendance

5. Air Conditioning repair experience.

6. Electronic Diagnostic skills a plus.

7. Basic data entry a must (repair orders).

 

Education level/degree/certification: ASE and Mechanic trade school certificates a plus.

 

Other knowledge/skills/abilities: Electronic and electrical troubleshooting skills and advanced hydraulic skills a plus.
