General Manager

Cannon Pacific Services is looking for an experienced and qualified general manager. Cannon Pacific is a San Diego County based municipal street sweeping and erosion control company. Cannon is the largest street sweeping company in San Diego County focused on sweeping for City’s and contractors. In addition Cannon’s erosion control division is growing quickly as it expands into the Inland Empire.

 

The General Manager will be reporting to the President and CEO. All other employees will report directly to the GM. The General Manager will be expected to supervise the shop foreman and the mechanics, the field supervisor for the sweeping division along with sales, administration, scheduling and dispatch. The GM will be expected to work collaboratively along side the current VP in charge of Erosion Control.

 

The successful candidate will have to be able read and understand financial statements, establish budgets, get involved in sales, recruitment, hiring and training.

 

We expect that the winning candidate will have at least 5 years management experience. Hold at least an undergraduate degree, preferably in business, be a highly motivated self starter ready to help us grow Cannon into the largest street sweeping and erosion control company in the West.

 

We will pay a salary between $70 - $90K based on experience along with full health and dental benefits, company car and paid expenses and stock options.
