Veterinary dental and oral surgical referral offices are looking for full or part-time receptionists, assistants and technicians.  All applicants must possess good client communication skills and be able to work within a dedicated professional team environment.

Receptionists must be mature, enthusiastic individuals that can impart to clients medical information both on the telephone and in person concerning their pets. They are responsible for the following:maintenance of proper office supply and pharmaceutical inventory; preparation of hospital and medical records; labeling radiographs; assisting veterinarians and technicians during examinations and cleaning and sanitizing exam rooms in between patients; entering client and patient information into the computer; and filling prescriptions directed by the veterinarian. Veterinary experience  is a plus.


Assistants will be responsible for the following: preparation of the operating and treatment rooms and surgical instruments; providing animal restraint for examination and anesthesia induction; cleaning and sanitizing the operating rooms and cages; setting up and autoclaving packs, maintaining proper inventory of medical surgical supplies, and entering data and digital images into patient records.


Technicians both licensed and unlicensed will be responsible for the following: perfoming venipuncture and catheter placement; running routine laboratory tests, induction (LVT) and maintenance of anesthesia, performing dental cleanings and taking diagnostic radiographs; assisting the veterinarians in client communication, and medical record keeping; and providing nursing care and adminstering medication.
