Veterinary hospital staff member

We are a dedicated group looking for an addition to our staff who is motivated, organized and enjoys working with people who have pets that are family members.  We have a state of the art facility and deal with up scale clientele.  We expect our staff members to maintain maximum standards at all times.


A veterinary receptionist is needed for a permanent full time position.  You must be able to work Monday through Friday from 7:45am until 6:30pm, with one day off during the week and half day on Saturday from 8:30am until 12:30pm with one Saturday a month off.


No experience in the veterinary environment is necessary, but some college and some office experience is preferred.  Excellent people skills are required.  Extensive training is provided, so a long term career (permanent) commitment is required.  This is NOT a good position for students.  Starting salary is $11.00 per hour, regardless of experience.  Staff with experience will be compensated accordingly after skills are observed.  All applicants will start at the front desk, regardless of technician skills.


After becoming proficient with the front desk position, we are looking for the right person to become a veterinary technician.  This is valuable training that will also lead to a career as a veterinary technician.
