Animal Caretaker/cleaner/ Veterinary assistant

Animal caretaker/cleaner for a Non-Profit organization.We are a no-kill sanctuary which provides care for approx. 80 parrots and approx. 80 rabbits. We also have 7 large goats and 3 pigs. As well as 3 dogs, 3 cats and 4 turtles. This position is mainly cleaning and I need somebody who would have no problems cleaning feces or urine. This position would require cleaning, medicating animals as needed, record keeping of daily activities, feeding, watching behavior and monitoring health of the animals. Must be a team player and able to work with other employees. Must be available weekends, holidays, mornings and some evenings. Job hours are from 7:30 a.m.-approx 12:30 p.m. Evening shift begins at dusk approx 5:30 for approx 1.5-2 hour shift. Extra compensation for p.m. shift is given. This position is $10.00/hr to start with health insurance provided after a month and if the employee works a minimum of 20/hrs per week.
