Casper Part Time Warehouse Associate

Uses established inbound and outbound processes to expedite customer orders.
Maintains inventory integrity and appearance of the branch while providing superior customer service in a professional manner.

- Unloads trailers using material handling equipment. Stocks merchandise in appropriate locations.
- Accurately picks items from designated locations using picking tickets and other reports. Provides customer service backup by accurately picking will-call and counter orders when needed.
- Properly packs merchandise to ensure adequate protection and compliance with Hazardous Material regulations.
- Selects the most economical method of routing to maximize service and minimize freight costs.
- Stages merchandise and complete necessary documents.
- Maintains inventory accuracy through the effective use of computerized scanning equipment and other inventory maintenance reports.
- Complies with OSHA and Hazardous Material requirements in the storage and movement of regulated product. Remains certified in Department of Transportation (DOT) and other Company requirements.
- Actively participates in Company's quality initiative and supports continuous improvement by utilizing the Customer Focused Quality System (CFQS) and Voice of the Customer tools, such as Customer Concern Forms (CCF's), Opportunities for Improvement (OFI's) and Request for Corrective Action (RCA's).
- Performs necessary housekeeping duties in order to maintain a clean, safe and organized working environment.
- Performs other duties as assigned.


- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Demonstrates dependable, on-time performance.
- Able to lift up to 70 pounds on a regular basis.
- Able to operate power equipment including: forklifts, pallet-jacks, and hand-carts.
- Demonstrates a commitment to providing superior customer service.
- Able to operate computerized scanning equipment and PC based programs.
- Able to follow detailed verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.
- Able to identify problems and offer alternative solutions or courses of action based on available resources.


This position has a direct impact on customer satisfaction and profitability through the efficiency and effectiveness by which warehouse processes are completed and by ensuring compliance with OSHA and Hazardous Material guidelines.
