Senior Telecommunications Analyst

Job Summary:

 

Analyzes telecommunications services, coordinates the installation of telecommunications services and equipment.

 

Essential Functions: Performs vendor management of telecommunications service and equipment providers to ensure contractual commitments are adhered to and SLA's are met.Works with business contacts to make changes to call routing scripts within the call center.Supports call center system reporting requirements, dial plan design and management.Creates reporting of telecommunication services and systems to management.Attends meetings with business vendors both on and off site.

 

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities Required:

 

Education/Experience: (include any licenses or certifications required)

 Associate’s degree in IT or equivalent experience is required. Bachelor’s degree in IT preferred. Working knowledge of telecom networks and carrier services, call management systems, call center routing and reporting systems.Understanding of telecommunications systems and networks.Experience working with businesses on telecommunications requirements.7+ years of directly related telecommunication experience.Knowledge of Health Care Industry business processes.Telecom Billing Analysis and Reporting, Project ManagementCall routing, quality recording, and workforce managementContract management, and contract negotiationsExperience training other employees.

 

Communication and Numeric Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.Solid mathematical, analytical and problem solving skills required.

 

Computer Skills: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications such as MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook) MS Visio.
