Senior Manager, Network Integration

This position is responsible for managing complex products and services in insuring delivery from cradle to grave of solutions for customer voice applications.These responsibilities includes managing vendor relationships for customer premise equipment, day to day sales engineering management and setting strategic direction in new voice technologies including mobility solutions, teleworker, videoconferencing, SIP and VOIP. This position must be able to operate at a high level both from a technical knowledge and customer interaction perspective and be able to work in a matrix organization with the capability of delivering significant EBITDA contributions. Collaborate with Corporate Strategy, Network Services, and Product Management organizations to identify capability gaps, analyze alternatives for optimization, structure relationships to bring products and services to market, and manage commercial introductions.Participate with other stakeholders to design fast, efficient, and accurate Product Delivery and Order Processes and manage execution to meet or exceed Company standards and customer expectations.Manage generation of complex sales orders that facilitate timely, efficient, and accurate provisioning and billing of customers' solutions.Oversee complex product pricing, to include development and management of pricing models that support margin and marketing objectives; are maintained with a high degree of accuracy and currency; and are applied to orders through an accurate and efficient mechanism.Oversee development and management of effective and efficient systems for tracking sales proposals.Serve as the escalation point for sales opportunities and for sales representatives requiring support in all phases of the sales cycle. Manage associated responses to meet or exceed customer and ACS expectations.Serve as the "C" level sales engineering contact for high level customer contacts.Delivers high level competitive analyses, forecasts, and associated recommendations.Develop comprehensive business plans, identify business strategies for attaining goals, and follow the development process including rigorous analytics to ensure project completion.Evaluate the broad perspective of corporate development opportunities, present recommendations to executive management for review, and take necessary steps to implement project plans as directed.Identify, evaluate, and negotiate opportunities to increase capabilities, market share, revenue and cash flow for all business segments.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum QualificationsA Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering or closely related field.  Equivalent education, experience, and training may be substituted for the degree requirement on a year-for-year basis.Seven years of work experience in a technical sales environment that demonstrates the ability to engineer and effectively manage projects to successful completion, including planning, implementation, follow-through, monitoring and refining final product as required to support business requirements. Five of the seven years must have been in the telecom industry.Knowledge of network architectures, protocols and topologiesProficient using computers and software: word processing, spreadsheets, databases, presentations, drawing/design, and project management.
