Manager NSD IP Implementation

Manager with an implementation and technical project lead background.

•This position will be responsible for day to day management of the NSD IP Implementation team.

•This position will require the successful candidate to be able to work independently on complex systems and projects, effectively prioritize projects and work loads for several technical resources.

•This position will require the successful candidate to be ability to tactically deliver on a day to day project to project basis, as well as plan strategically for upcoming work loads and project schedules.

•This position will require the successful candidate to have experience in managing a technology engineering group.

•This position will require the successful candidate to manage vendor interaction and ensure all vendor responsibilities are defined and executed as required within negotiated Statements of Work.

•This position will require knowledge of and ongoing learning for many different areas of technology, including LAN/WAN, UNIX, GPRS, SMS, and other core technologies.

•This position will require the successful candidate to be able to comprehend and effectively communicate at the engineering and architectural level, concerns or enhancements required for projects.

•This position will require the successful candidate to have a firm understanding of the role of an operations organization, previous operational management is a plus.

•This position will require the successful candidate to have previously managed large nation wide IP network deployments.



QUALIFICATIONS

Previous Technical Management Experience Required
Excellent understanding of the project life cycle model
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
Expert knowledge in IP Networking (Subnet masking, LAN/WAN, and routing protocols)
Expert knowledge in Wireless networking (WiFi, GPRS/EDGE,SMS)
Expert knowledge in Firewalls as applied to applications and technology.
