Drive Test Technician
We need 3-5 people to help with a wireless telecommunications field project. The job will require the candidate to operate drive-test equipment i.e. set up basic parameters, start and stop the data collection, validate data being collected, and upload collected data to a server. The person will start data collection in the morning and drive along a specific route (will be provided at start of day) to collect wireless data. Typically, there should be 8-10 hours of work per day. The collected data will be uploaded to a server in the office at the end of the day. We will train this person to operate the specific equipment we have, but we do expect prior experience in collecting drive-test data.
We will provide a car for this person to drive through the test areas or compensate the person for use of a personal vehicle. The person should expect to spend the bulk of his/her time driving in the car collecting data and some time in the office in uploading/downloading collected data, etc.
Required Qualifications:
A technical (engineering/computer science) background
Experience handling drive test equipment and collecting drive test data
Good computer skills – Windows, file manipulation, etc.
A valid driving license, a clean driving record, qualified to drive a rental car.
A professional, positive, can-do attitude
Authorization to work in the US
All candidates will have to undergo a background check and drug screening.
Compensation: Around $15/hour, but could be a little higher based on experience and capabilities.
