FT Sales Associate/PT Sales Associate/Sr. Sales Associate.

 

The FT/PT Sales Associate is responsible for the inside sales to new and current customers in the MetroPCS company owned retail stores.  This position is also responsible for the administrative and logistics functions of setting up that customer to receive service from MetroPCS, Inc. This includes qualifying, explanation of features/functions/services, and setting proper expectations for fellow employees.

 

The responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 Greet customers in a timely and positive manner. Create a very positive sales/buying experience for the customer.Identify customer’s needs and provide information about the benefits of our service that can meet those needs.Simply, professionally and clearly explain and demonstrate our products, services, features and benefits relating to the customers needs, as well as, being able to troubleshoot customer service questions to help resolve all customer problems/concerns.Maintain files of existing and potential customers. Maintain floor stocking levels, displays, etc.Perform sales tracking and related reports.Insure that all company policies are followed.Perform customer service activities as required.Reinforce the customer’s decision to buy and act always with honesty and the highest level of integrity.Accepting payments on customer accounts and doing exchanges/upgrades correctly.Balancing/reconciliation of cash drawer to meet company standards.Read and understand all current and new policies and procedures relating to store operations.Ensure work schedules are adhered to.

 

The Senior Sales Associate is responsible for assisting with the administration and supervision of the MetroPCS, Inc. owned retail store. This is primarily a direct retail sales position with additional responsibilities for store associated customer service, inventory activities and troubleshooting.

 

The responsibilities include, but not limited to:

 Respond to all sales and customer issues. Represent MetroPCS, Inc. as a leader and knowledgeable expert in these situations.In absence of Store Manager, provide coordination and monitoring of all sales and non-sales tasks, direction, and motivation to store employee team to build a positive sales and service environment.Adhere to all operational policies put out by the company as well as market specific objectives.Ensure that all operational policies are adhered to and executed by yourself and all your staff.Ensure that all opening and closing procedures are followed to company policy.Ensure the integrity of inventory and cash in the store environment at all times.Assist with all necessary sales reporting.Maintain floor stocking levels, displays, etc… as well as to company planogram.Greet customers in a timely and positive manner.  Create a very positive sales/buying experience for the customer.Identify customer needs and provide information about the benefits of our service that can meet those needs.Train and develop your sales team.Other tasks as assigned and needed by the business.

Education/Experience:

 

High school or GED equivalent; plus 1-2 years sales experience in a retail environment with a proven track record for generating sales and delivering excellent customer service. Bilingual (English/Spanish) is preferred. Candidates with experience in the wireless industry as well as those that have worked in a high-volume retail store will receive top consideration
