If you want to be part of a dynamic growing company, then come join our team!  We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Personal Training Manager to work in San Mateo, CA.

The Personal Training Manager will ensure that the personal training department achieves or exceeds the clubs’ goals relating to personal training revenue and fitness cost of operations while providing the highest level of customer service. Responsibilities include: hiring, training, motivating, directing and evaluating the Fitness Manager and the Personal Training team; assisting in the development of an annual budget; achieving or exceeding the club’s personal training revenue goals; providing monthly reports and attending meetings and telephone conferences; keeping up-to-date on all club services, programs, products and competitors.

Qualified candidates will have proven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional setting and the ability to hire, direct and train staff.  One year of proven success as a personal trainer and certifications are required. Current C.P.R., First Aid and multinational certifications or related degrees and financial management experience is desired.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to utilize new techniques, ideas and problem solve is imperative. Candidates should be ambitious, driven, passionate and knowledgeable regarding the fitness industry.
Excellent time management, organizational and follow-up skills and computer literacy are also required for this position.
