Personal Trainer

The Sporting Club at the Bellevue has exciting opportunities for enthusiastic fitness professionals looking to build a profitable and successful Personal Training business. The Sporting Club at the Bellevue is an exclusive 98,000 square foot facility that offers state of the art equipment and facilities and the most exclusive clientele in the Philadelphia area. We are currently looking for Personal Trainers with early morning and evening availability to handle our membership demand who also offer flexibility to handle other hours as well.

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS

 

Minimum of current A.C.E. - PTC Certification, N.S.C.A. – CPT Certification, or N.A.S.M. – Foundation for Health & Fitness Professionals Certification 

OR

-                      Currently enrolled in or acquired Degree in Health/Fitness related field from a regionally accredited College or University and in pursuit of one of the above certifications (certification must be obtained to perform personal training)

-              Minimum of 2 years personal training experience in a health club setting

-                      Current CPR/AED certification

-                      Excellent knowledge of free weights, variable resistance machines, and cardiovascular equipment

-                      Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational disposition

-                      Excellent verbal communication, instruction, and promotional skills

-                      Excellent customer service skills, professionalism, discretion, and appearance

-                      Excellent dependability and reliability.

-                      Knowledge of human anatomy/physiology, exercise physiology, and biomechanics a plus

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

 

-                      Provides superior customer service through floor supervision and personalized instruction as scheduled

-                      Conduct Fitness Assessments and develop exercise programs for members

-                      Maintains current Personal Training Certification

-                      Maintains current CPR/AED certification
