Part-Time Building Supervisor

The Village of Orland Park’s Recreation and Parks department seeks a part-time

Building Supervisor to assist in the day-to-day operations of the Sportsplex facility.

Responsibilities include opening and/or closing the Sportsplex, serving as Manager

on Duty (MOD) in the absence of a full-time Sportsplex MOD, interacting with the public

which includes, Sportsplex members, Orland Park residents and non-residents and

responding to and addressing concerns or problems.  This position will also insure that

the facility is well maintained, initiate and participate in the set up/tear-down of

programs and daily activities, respond to security breaches, appropriately addressing

any inconsistencies in operational procedures, and taking the lead in emergency

response types of situations if they arise.

 

This position requires a friendly, efficient, and service-minded individual.  Proven leadership in customer service and prior staff supervision of a multi-service complex is also needed along with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. 

 

Hours:  Evenings and weekends approximately 19 hours per week.

 

Pay-rate:  Starting at $14.00 per hour.
