Membership Advisor

Position Summary

Maintains the business plan and marketing strategies to drive membership sales and ancillary revenue. Upholds the fulfillment of Mount Vernon Athletic Club mission statement.

1. Generates appointments for new and existing members
2. Sells memberships for the club by providing information, assessing fitness goals and motivating individuals to begin a workout program
3. Follows sales plan to meet and exceed sales goals
4. Initiates, develops and maintains a personalized relationship with each member
5. Educates members to achieve a healthier way of life
6. Provides customer service to new and existing members
7. Builds a positive relationship with members by working to determine fitness needs
8. Ensures sales areas are clean and maintained

• Maintain Healthy Way of Life
• Adhere to company policies and procedures
• Ensure cleanliness of the club using all 5 senses:
o Sight to ensure club is neat and orderly
o Sound to ensure music/ sound levels are appropriate
o Touch to ensure floors, countertops, etc are clean and dry
o Taste to ensure food & beverages in the café are up-to-standards
o Smell to ensure the club is fresh Minimum Qualifications
