Member Service Manager

 

The Sporting Club at the Bellevue is looking for energetic, passionate, career minded individual that is interested in joining our Management team on a full time basis.  Our facility has a very successful history of stability and growth, which includes a professionally staffed and highly successful personal training program supported by a 30,000 square foot state of the art fitness floor. 

 

The Member Service Manager is primarily responsible for managing the Member Service Agents. Additionally, the Member Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of the Pro Shop, coat check and shoe shine area

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND CHARACTERISTICS

 

· Energetic, enthusiastic, and motivational disposition

· Excellent verbal communication, instruction, and promotional skills

· Excellent customer service skills, professionalism, discretion, and appearance

· Excellent dependability and reliability.

· Must have 1 – 3 years of experience in customer service

· Managerial experience required

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



 

§ Trains, schedules and supervises the Front Desk,  Pro Shop, coat check and shoe shine staff.

§ Directs Member Services operations ensuring a friendly, knowledgeable, courteous, and consistent staff performance

§ Handles all member access issues, including but not limited to:  inactive and cancelled member accounts, delinquent account balances, paid and promotional guest access, EFT and credit card declines

§ Works as a team member with the business office staff in support of membership financial policies and procedures, as well as, monitoring cash drawer overage and shortage

§ Supports the Membership Sales office in monitoring and enforcing guest policies

§ Significant percentage of work hours spent performing the function of a Member Services Agent as needed, with particular emphasis on prime time and staff needs

§ Utilizes proper customer service techniques in handling members, staff, guests, superiors, and owners efficiently and with respect utilizing excellent people skills.

§ Maintains accessible contact to Member Services staff to insure that all scheduled member service hours are covered specifically in the case of an emergency or staff “call out”

§ Insures Member Services coverage as per established expectations.

 

 

The ideal candidate will be highly motivated and prepared to be a major contributor to a member service-oriented organization possessing strong customer service skills.

 

*Health benefits, paid time off, Salary - $33,000 to $35,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
