A The Little Gym “Gym Director” is a full-time career level position, responsible for the overall operational performance of The Little Gym of Wilmington, DE.  The Gym Director reports directly to the owners and general responsibilities include:

 

-  Hiring, managing and training staff

-  Teaching classes

-  Managing all day-to-day operations

-  Maintaining the facility/equipment

-  Providing outstanding customer service

-  Selling the program to new and existing customers

 

For 30 years The Little Gym has set the standard for progressive motor-skill development by providing children with a foundation of confidence through non-competitive, gymnastics-based programs.  Our Parent/Child, Pre-K, Grade School, Sports and Karate classes are all taught in a fun, safe and nurturing environment, which encourages children to develop at their own pace.

The ideal candidate needs to be highly motivated and possess superior time management skills.  A background in child development, physical education, gymnastics and/or sports and karate is certainly a plus.Daytime, evening and occasional weekend hours are generally required.  NOTE: A college degree or a minimum of 5 years equivalent work experience is required.
