Assistant Program Director
Are you an energetic , self-motivated individual seeking a fun and challenging opportunity working with children and teaching motor skill development classes? If so you may be just the person we’re looking for!
As a The Little Gym Assistant Program Director, your primary responsibility will be to teach great classes based on our proven curriculum and teaching methods. In addition, you will be working with a dynamic team of individuals who are committed to providing outstanding customer service, and a Membership experience that is second to none.
Typical responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:
Knowing and understanding The Little Gym philosophy and program and communicating information correctly and professionally to parents.
Teaching assigned classes and arriving in a timely manner in order to complete setup for class in accordance with lesson plans.
Assisting the Program Director in the training of Instructors and maintaining and building student enrollment.
Conducting great The Little Gym classes while ensuring that all classes are high energy and fun.
Performing all other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Program and/or Gym Director, which include but are not limited to opening and/or closing the gym, managing weekend birthday parties and managing hourly staff in their day to day activities.
For 30 years The Little Gym has set the standard for progressive motor-skill development, by providing children with a foundation of confidence through non-competitive, gymnastics-based programs. Our Parent/Child, Pre-K and Grade School classes are all taught in a fun, safe and nurturing environment, which encourages children to develop at their own pace.

A background in child development, physical education and/or gymnastics is certainly a plus as is prior management and strong customer service experience.
