In 2005 Excel Golf Tee, Inc. revolutionized the golf industry by introducing the first 100% Biodegradable "performance" golf tee. Zero Friction Golf Tees have taken the golfing world by storm collecting over 20 PGA Tour victories and 150 Top 10 Finishes world wide. The product is available in most major retailers around the country and our international sales are far exceeding projections. In addition to our Biodegradable product we also introduced Zero Friction Hardwood Golf Tees. This product features a cup 30% smaller than traditional tees and is turned from an exotic hardwood making them stronger than birch turned golf tees. This brand is ever evolving and we will be introducing a number of products under this brand in the near future.

 

As this brand has continued to grow, Excel Golf Tee, Inc. has the need to expand our brand awareness globally. This employee will be assisting with the following;

 

*Management of existing product line and product additions
*Marketing
*Advertising
*Product development
*Customer interaction and new product training
*Developing short and long term brand strategic plans
*PGA Tour and RE/MAX World Long Drive promotions
*Managing PGA Tour activity
*Interaction with PGA Tour Professionals

 

Excel Golf Tee, Inc. has a representative who travels around the country each week with the PGA Tour interacting with players and teaching them about our product. The PGA Tour Rep is responsible for convincing Tour Players to play our product and maintain of list of said players for marketing purposes. The Assistant Brand Manager would be assisting our PGA Tour Rep in expanding our presence on the world wide PGA Tours, so a small amount of travel would be required.

 

Qualifications

 

Education: Bachelor's degree in Business/Marketing strongly preferred.

Experience: 1-2 years of marketing experience. Brand management experience strongly preferred.

 

Skills and Abilities/ Competencies:

 

Ability to manage key projects independently
Proven leadership skills, insightful business judgment
Professional approach to problem solving
Strong analytical skills
Broad business management understanding
Good strategic abilities
Effective oral and written communication skills
Strong computer skills a must

Strong knowledge of the game of golf required
