Production Operator- Peptides

Adecco Scientific is currently seeking a Peptide Production Operator for our client located in Torrance, CA. This is a temp to hire position.

JOB FUNCTION:

The Production Operator contributes to the safe and efficient cGMP production of peptides as a team member.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

1. Performs peptide-processing steps according to established procedures.
2. Carries out necessary preparative steps according to instructions given by supervisor.
3. Keeps records of all processing steps performed.
4. Complies with SOP’s and cGMP in all aspects of work.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Makes safe and conscious use of instruments, chemicals and other resources provided.
2. Follows directions given by supervisor and seeks advice as required.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

1. 2-3 years of college.
2. Emphasis in chemistry, or science related studies desirable.
3. Good oral communication in English.
4. Clean appearance.
5. Neat handwriting.
6. Work history with excellent attendance record.
7. Flexibility and availability to work shifts.

SKILLS:

1. Ability to read, understand and follow SOP’s and instructions given by the immediate supervisor.
2. Detail oriented and accurate.
3. Focused and reliable.
4. Ability to communicate and collaborate with peers and supervisor.
