Field Sales Representative

Production Tool Supply (PTS), founded in 1951, is one of the largest distributors of industrial supplies in North America. With branches throughout Michigan and Northern Ohio, PTS stocks more than 235,000 items for immediate shipment to its customers. In addition, customers receive personalized and professional services from a team of field sales representatives.

We have a position open for a Field Sales Representative to develop relationships with customers throughout Southwestern Michigan. A background in Manufacturing or Engineering is preferred with an emphasis on metalworking, gauging, assembly, and maintenance operations. A minimum of 3 years experience in industrial sales or a related field also needed.

Responsibilities for this position, which reports to the General Manager at the Jackson branch, include customer development, product selection, performance analysis, new product introduction and applications.

Primary products offered are cutting tools, carbide, abrasive products, measuring instruments, hand tools, power tools, chemical and lubricants, maintenance supplies, fasteners, metalworking machinery and accessories.
