Royal Cup Coffee, a leading coffee roaster and nationwide provider of gourmet coffees, teas and foodservice products, has an immediate opening in our Management Training Program.  This is an entry level position in the FoodService Division.

 

Company Profile: 

Royal Cup Coffee is a 110 year old, privately held company.  National customers include The Ritz Carlton Hotel Company, Comfort Inn & Suites, Outback Steakhouse, IHOP and many others.  We are seeking a “Territory Manager” / Management Development Candidate for the greater Metro Atlanta area.

 

Management Development Program: 

This is an entry level position in the FoodService & Hospitality Division Sales Organization.  Our training program is a minimum 9-18 months in Route Delivery as a Territory Manager.  Training includes company orientation, operations, customer service, product knowledge, equipment applications and route delivery sales.  Once minimum training is successfully completed, assignment as a Branch Manager or Account Executive will follow.   

 

Position Summary:

The Territory Manager is a route delivery driver and focuses on servicing our existing customer base and growing the customer base by selling new accounts. The successful Territory Manager will master all aspects of route operations; achieve goals set by the manager for promotions, allied penetration, allied margins and tea sales. The Territory Manager must maintain accurate pricing for the customer, must provide exceptional customer service and must represent the company in a professional manner. 

 

After a minimum of 9-18 months, reassignment to a Branch Manager or Account Executive position will immerse the candidate into generating new accounts through cold calling, referrals and networking.  Executive product knowledge, management leadership, and executive sales training will follow.  Customer retention through strategic customer business plans will be a key measure of performance. 

 

Candidate Criteria:  

Bachelors Degree in Business, Communications, Psychology or Liberal Arts is preferred. Requirements include: very strong work ethic, outgoing personality,  success driven, acceptable driving record. Candidate must be in good physical condition for demanding work, must have the ability to work independently. Athletic team, sports background is a plus.  Must be willing to relocate after initial training.
