Responsibilities:
Working with a group of highly talented engineers and scientists, you will be responsible for:
1) Characterization of electronic, magnetic and optical properties of new materials using standard instruments or special developed test and measurement tools including evanescent microwave microscope (EMP), ESR, Scanning optical microscope, optical spectrometer, etc.
2) Development of new characterization and high throughput screening tools to meet the future requirements of continuously discovered materials.
Requirements:
1) Ph.D. in physics or related areas
2) Solid background in physics, optics, microwave, and magnetism, especially the relevant characterization technologies
3) Hands-on experience on scanning probe microscope, such as STM, AFM or NSOM.
4)Rich skills in computer control and data acquisition, including hardware interface and software programming (C/C++, Labview or Matlab).
5) Familiar with basic mechanical and electronics design.
6) Capable of handling multitasks and willing to work both independently and in cooperation with other members in a small team.
