DESCRIPTION:

The candidate will work closely with an Agile cross-disciplinary development team and will need to provide both manual testing and extension to the automated testing framework. The product to be tested is a complex 3D graphical system, so a background in 3D is extremely valuable.  In accordance with Agile principles, the manual testing proceeds as features are developed, and when features are approved the automated versions of the test are created. An adequate test plan is created in cooperation with the rest of the team. The candidate must be comfortable working dynamically in a team, since the group as a whole determines what needs to happen at any given time. In addition, the candidate will need to perform lower level API testing of the underlying development framework.

 

The candidate must be knowledgeable in software QA/QC procedures and ideally will have experience on Agile teams. Expertise in creating automated test scripts using WinRunner is essential, and experience in applying automated testing to graphical systems would be beneficial.

 

REQUIREMENTS:

* 3 years experience in planning, reviewing and executing manual testing.

* 3 years experience in planning and implementing automated tests using WinRunner or other commercial test framework

* Experience in functional, regression, stress and performance testing

* Experience with testing SDK/API packages

* Good communication skills, both verbal and written

* Good team skills

 

DESIRABLE:

* Experience with testing 3D graphical applications

* Experience working on agile teams

* Experience with the software build process

* Experience in application extension by scripting

* Experience in whitebox testing of C#/.NET applications
