Senior Research Engineer/Principal Scientist

Radio Technologies Laboratory at Nokia Research Center is looking for a world class expert in radio interface technologies and wireless systems.

The scope of the work is to create cutting edge wireless solutions and algorithms for the future mobile devices. This position is located in Palo Alto, CA.

Requirements:
You have a strong academic and applied industrial background with a higher university degree (PhD is valued). You have a world class expertise in at least one of the following areas: development of transceiver algorithms for physical layer, development of new radio architectures/concepts, extensive knowledge of RF/transceiver research & design for WLAN, WiMax, BT or cellular standards including understanding of physical layer.

You have preferable 8-12 years of relevant experience. You have a proven track record of bringing research results into reality.

You have excellent written and verbal presentation skills. You are a strong team player with excellent interpersonal skills.

You're experienced in function and use of laboratory equipment including spectrum analyzer, network analyzer, oscillosopes, etc.
