Sales Support - Business Analyst

The First Years, a division of RC2 Brands, Inc., a leading designer, producer and marketer of innovative, high quality toys, collectible, hobby and infant care products, has a full time opening for a Sales Support - Business Analyst located in Danbury, CT.  This position is responsible for the timely download and formatting of weekly reports. Provide Account POS Data. Update 90 day rolling forecasts.  Coordinate resolution of shipping issues. General office support.

Education: Bachelors degree in Business Administration preferred or equivalent.

Primary Responsibilities:

Timely download and formatting of weekly reports:
• Retrieve and format data
• Sales, margin, inventory, in-stocks, on order and projected sales

Provide account POS data:
• Retrieve and format data
• Analyze and disseminate data
• Interpret and format for corporate review and SAS upload.

Evaluate and update the 90 day rolling forecast:
• Research discrepancies and adjust
• Oversee account reviews and adjust
• Monitor account adds and drops and adjust
• Monitor new product availability and adjust
• Submit SEWS on a timely basis

Coordinate resolution of shipping issues:
• Weekly review of Pos
• Advise on partial shipments
• Advise on backorder status
• Meet with account replenishment as necessary

General office support:
• Customize customer presentations
• Sample coordination
• Special allowance forms
• TRU/BRU data forms
• Other as required

Job Requirements/Qualifications:
1.) 2 years experience in business analysis.
2.) Understanding of account systems and procedures.
3.) Strong Analytical skills.
4.) Attention to detail
5.) Ability to learn new software and applications independently.
6.) Retail merchandising and replenishment techniques.
7.) Computer application skills. (Microsoft Office, Windows dbase, etc.)
