Description:

In this position, the analyst is provided the tools and support necessary to grow into a specialist on power equipment markets. Frost & Sullivan’s power systems practice primarily covers the rapidly growing power equipment industry. He/she is part of an international team of analysts supporting market research services, consulting projects, and online subscription products covering U.S. and world power systems markets. In this role, the analyst collects & analyzes data on marketing conditions & business opportunities, authors market studies, and develops relationships and conducts interviews with major market players. Working independently as well as in teams, the analyst assimilates diverse information sources to create high caliber reports that provide market assessments and strategic insights into contemporary energy topics, identifying the implications and recommendations emerging from the analysis.

 

Responsibilities include the following:

· Research and monitor selected markets in the power supplies/power quality industry, working to become a recognized expert in selected Power System markets.

· Develop relationships and conduct interviews with major manufacturers for gathering primary research results.

· Plan and execute delivery of subscription-based summary of your findings.

· Participate in strategic planning, in-depth market analysis, and forecasting for consulting clients, subscription services, and syndicated research studies.

· Provide insightful articles and quotes on the industry for Frost & Sullivan on-line, Web newsletters, magazines, and major newspapers.

· Speak at industry trade shows and conferences.

· Establish your personal reputation in the industry, and enhance that of Frost & Sullivan.
