Embedded Software Engineer

Embedded Software Engineer with a Dynamic High-Tech Company

Digital Signal Corporation is a small, rapidly growing company located near Washington, DC. We develop laser radar systems for security and other applications. DSC has a unique and interesting technology that gives us a strong market position. We are looking for an experienced, skilled Embedded Software Engineer who possesses solid experience with real time operating systems.

Required Skills:

-> 3-5+ years of current experience as an Embedded Software Design
Engineer in Product Development. Candidates must have experience with
C++ or C in a real-time environment.
-> Must have experience working with at least one Real-Time Operating
System (RTOS). Our current RTOS is VxWorks. Real-world experience with
VxWorks would be a plus.
-> Must have strong experience programming DSPs.
-> Must have experience programming in a Windows/PC environment.
-> BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
-> Master's Degree preferred, but not required.
-> United States citizenship required.

Desired Skills:

-> Experience with digital signal processing algorithms highly desirable.
-> Experience with FPGA programming, TCP/IP and/or device drivers would be
a strong plus.
