Metrolist is a Denver-area multiple listing service for the real estate industry, facilitating the cooperation between real estate brokers in both purchase and sales transactions. Metrolist is the only real estate Multiple Listing Service (MLS) serving the metro Denver area. We provide a broad database of real property listings for real estate brokers to better serve buyers and sellers. Founded in 1984, Metrolist was one of the first regional MLS' in the nation and is considered to be an industry leader. We are searching for a qualified individual to join the Greenwood Village, Colorado, Metrolist IT team.

Business Analyst


The job -

Analyze and document current and planned business processes. Work closely with Product Software Lead, Design Manager, Program Management Office, Quality Assurance, Subject Matter Experts, and internal business groups to better understand functional and non-functional requirements. Translate this understanding into design materials that clearly communicate desired functionality to the software development staff.

 

Responsibilities include the following:Define the required design materials while working within an Agile ("Scrum") development environment.Communicate proposed solutions through the use of design materials such as UML models, User Stories, Business Rules, Prototypes, Use Cases, Functional Requirements.Guide or perform the detailed tasks required to complete required design materials.Build and maintain a working knowledge of the business, industry, rules and regulations, and statutes.Work with stakeholders to clearly understand and document business needs.Create and maintain executable prototypes built within a custom framework.

Qualifications –Must have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or relevant discipline.Microsoft Visual Studio 2005, ASP.NET 2.0, C#.Must have a minimum of 4-6 years of IT experience, 2-3 as a business analyst.Proficient with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Visio.Effective written and oral communication skills.Must be detailed oriented and very organized.Experience with RUP and UML desired.
