Purchasing Manager for Tempe Window Company

Paramount Windows Corporation a leading Manufacturer of Aluminum Windows and Doors, designed for New Residential Homes and Distributor of Custom Wood and Vinyl Windows and Doors is currently interviewing qualified candidates for a Purchasing Manager position.

Job Purpose
Maintains operations by purchasing parts and materials; monitoring inventory; approving invoices; supervising staff.

Duties:
* Responsible for managing every aspect of purchasing including purchase orders, supplies, vender performance, MRP requirements.
* Guides purchasing actions by developing and enforcing purchasing policies and procedures.
* Maintains inventory by monitoring minimum and maximum stock levels.
* Approves invoice payment by verifying receipt; forward to accounting.
* Resolves accounting issues by researching problem invoices.
* Accomplishes purchasing and organization mission by completing related results as needed.


Skills/ Requirements

* Must be very organized and attentive to detail.
* Must be able to multi task and be comfortable working in a fast paced environment.
* Capable of handling and processing large amounts of information.
* Must have strong written/verbal communication skills.
* Must be adept in MS office, particularly Word and Excel, with heavy emphasis on spreadsheet management.
* Ideal candidate would have a background in manufacturing.
* Local candidates preferred, no reimbursement offered at this time for relocations.
* Good Negotiator.
