Purchasing Agent

Niacc is currently recruiting for the position of Purchasing Agent for its Fresno Business Unit.  In this position, Purchasing Agent will:

 

·  Place Inventory Stock Orders

·  Review the P.O. Due Report and Place Necessary Calls Right Away

·  Conduct Perpetual Inventory Counts 

·  Place Special Orders

·  Place Non-Inventory Orders                                     

The Purchasing Agent is directly responsible to the Inventory Control Manager.  He/She shall work on a daily basis providing purchasing support for inventory items.  The Purchasing Agent shall use the daily Re-order report along with any other report available to perform the job efficiently and effectively.  If any purchasing related questions arise, contact the Inventory Control Manager for assistance.

 

 

Requirements/Experience:

 1 – 3 years in related fieldHigh School DiplomaHighly responsive to internal and external customer requirements, with a high attention for detailMust work well with others and be flexible in handling multiple tasks.
