Publication Coordinator

Teleflora, the world’s largest floral wire service, products and technology company is looking for a Publications Coordinator to work with the team that produces our monthly premier Floral Magazine - Flowers &.

This position will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks related to the publication of this magazine.

Job Responsibilities include:

Billing, scheduling, sales administration, trafficking and processing ad materials, fielding calls from customers, advertisers and florists.

Liason with advertisers, assist with production of ads, produces ad reports, tracking ad materials, handling advertiser billing.

Sets production schedule for the year and assists with keeping production on deadline.

Generating department ideas that satisfy both editorial themes and advertising needs.

Work with art director to acquire art and ads from advertisers.Scan pick-up ads and make ready for each issue.

Proofreading articles at laser and blue-line phases.

Working with advertising reps to gather and publish select advertiser products.

Coordinating photo shoots with designer, art director and photographer.

Coordinating annual contest from announcement through publication of winners photos.

Responsible for all interaction with vendor for subscription services – updating advertiser response information and non-member subscriber information.

Responsible for entering all production materials information into the Datatrax System and generate month end billing and ad page count.

Responsible to proof monthly billings and provide credits and debits accordingly.

Responsible for wholesaler program – billing and updating systems.

General administrative duties for group as needed.  

Job Requirements:

BA desired or 2-3 years experience customer service.
Stong Customer Service and problem solving skills required.
Knowledge of Macintosh, Word, Outlook, Excel, Quark required.
Candidate must have an eye for detail and excellent communication skills. Should have the ability to “see the big picture” as well as all of the small details.
