Amazing opportunity for a seasoned journalist to take ownership of the leading business-to-business trade journal of the adult entertainment DVD market.

Candidate must be a high-energy, self-motivated jack-of-all-trades. In addition to impeccable writing and editing skills, must be highly organized, able to keep multiple projects moving forward simultaneously, good at making new contacts, building relationships and dealing with diverse personalities.

Must also be comfortable working in an entrepreneurial atmosphere with numerous responsibilities (and equally numerous opportunities) and tight deadlines.


Daily responsibilities:

- Source and write news stories, briefs and other items for daily news website

- Assign, coordinate and edit (or write) feature articles and monthly columns/bulletin items for magazines

- Maintain highest standards of excellence and ensure quality control of every detail, from headlines to cutlines

- Work with advertisers and retailers to manage monthly buyer’s guide of new releases as well as sales and rental charts

- Co-manage writing staff for daily news website

- Travel to and represent company at industry trade shows and events

- Obtain photos and artwork from story subjects

Ideal candidate will have a B.A./B.S. in Journalism or English and minimum 5 years’ experience as an editor. Experience in adult entertainment a definite plus.
