Our client has an immediate full time opportunity available for a skilled Desktop Publisher.

Responsibilities
Will assist in coordination and implementation of assigned marketing projects. Additional duties include:

* Edits and typesets material for product catalogs, promotional materials and other technical publications in print or electronic media.
* Utilize tools such as drawings, sketches, specifications and other sources as content material.
* Work closely with product managers and engineers to obtain content material.
* Prepares content lay outs for print processes.
* Provide day-to-day administrative projects within the marketing department
* Primary responsibility includes creating and maintaining user manuals, internal guides, and other internally used marketing material.
* Additional duties include product support, market research, mailings/sale support, and budget management.

Required Skills
* At least 2-3 years of related experience
* Strong oral and written communication skills
* Strong organizational skills.
* Experience with publishing software, ideally the Adobe Publishing Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, PageMaker and Acrobat.
* Strong Microsoft Office (including PowerPoint) and other related applications.
* Fluency with PC and Macintosh platforms.
* Knowledge of printing processes.
* Design and graphics skills.
