POSITION SUMMARY

 

The position is primarily responsible for supporting the evaluation and development of strategic initiatives and managing the evaluation and development of individual product development assignments. Initially this position will be focused on the new Real Time Manufacturer Discount program and will require a high degree of strategic and tactical leadership.

 

This role will include any or all of the following responsibilities; coordinating and documenting business feasibility assessments (including market analysis, technical assessments, operational impact assessments and financial assessments). Developing and documentation business requirements and operational specifications and successfully transitioning ownership of products once developed to appropriate business areas and or managing the day to day implementation of developed products.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

Strong project management skills required. Must be able to manage/influence individuals in cross functional teams. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to interpret business rules into technical requirements. Strong knowledge of PBM systems. Ability to work closely with key business counterparts to facilitate business solutions, ability to understand financial models and practices. Working knowledge of client and or pharmaceutical contracts. Strong leadership and attention to detail.

 

EDUCATION

 

Bachelor degree BA or BS. Advanced degree a plus

EXPERIENCE

9 + years progressive experience in the PBM or Pharmaceutical Industry preferred.
