Product Manager

Headquartered in San Jose, California, Sanmina-SCI is a leading EMS provider focused on delivering complete end-to-end manufacturing capabilities and highly complex solutions to technology companies around the world.

Identify and penetrate DoD markets requiring interoperable tactical communications systems. Lead the development of marketing plans, short/long term marketing strategies, providing input to promotional initiatives and supporting overall division strategies. Devise and coordinate a DoD related business development plan for tactical communications systems. Aggressively pursue sales growth for tactical communication products. Attend trade shows, stay current with industry trends, research new products, seek new markets and meet with OEMs, prime contractors, and end users. Work closely with the global sales force to maximize product sales. Monitor competitor product offerings by reviewing current systems and product lines to assist in identifying acceptable inventory/pricing levels which are also consistent with market demands and company strategy.

Minimum of three years product management experience in communication/tactical communications. Strong technical knowledge and experience with networks and communication systems. Working knowledge and understanding of DoD tactical communication & interoperability requirements. Strong verbal, written, organization, time management, team, self-motivation and problem resolution skills. Appropriate academic skills ? minimum Bachelor?s Degree required. Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to interact with personnel in many different functional roles and levels. Demonstrated skills in presentation and organization required. Must have ability to obtain DoD Secret Level clearance. Ability to travel and capable of operating without day to day supervision.
