Product Line Manager

Product Line Manager
The Product Line Manager plays a key role in developing, communicating and driving requirements to all departments within the company ensuring accurate definition of products, features and benefits, deployment scenarios, and applications. This position works closely with sales, engineering, operations and customer base to develop and execute market share gain strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Conduct market research, market segmentation and competitive analysis for company’s served industry segments. Articulate features, benefits and competitive product advantages.• Develop key positioning messages for use by marketing and sales.• Own business case for new and existing products in the portfolio.• Educate sales force (internal and external) in the nuances of the product offerings, features and benefits versus the competition.• Represent Adtron at trade shows and conferences (to include making
presentations).• Develop product roadmaps addressing features, functions, timelines,
target cost and price.• Gather market intelligence, market feedback and engage customers to understand market requirements to develop business.• Develop relationships with customers/potential customers and support sales teams in account development as needed.• Provide product forecasting and inventory recommendations.• Develop and coordinate product launch plans across marketing, sales and engineering.• Provide sales and marketing with extensive technical product and solutions assistance, sales tools and documentation to aid in the prospecting and qualification process.• Maintain and keep abreast of industry trends through training, attendance at key trade events, etc.

Education and Experience
A BSEE, BSCS degree required with a minimum of 8 years experience in the embedded computing or storage industry combined with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in product management/marketing. MBA a plus. Candidate must have excellent written and verbal communications skills. Ability to interact with customers and industry participants at all levels. Willing to travel (10-20% of the time).
