The company has a career position available for a Manager of Sales Administration and Senior Product Specialist. This is a challenging senior level position within the Sales and Marketing department. The position, which is based out of the company headquarters in Arvin CA, reports directly to the Director of Sales and Marketing and is critical to the daily operation and future growth and expansion of one of the world’s most recognized names in respiratory supplies.

SUMMARY
This position holds primary responsibility for managing and overseeing the Sales Administration and Product Management functions of Salter Labs. This will entail working closely with multiple departments from initial new product concept through product launch. Specific areas of focus include participating in product-related business planning, research, and analysis to capitalize on market opportunities for new products and new market development. Individual will gather data on market competition and customer feedback, manage product changes, implement updates of product-related sales and marketing materials, oversee labeling and packaging related activities, conduct product training, implement and periodically review pricing programs, and support business management initiatives. Administrative activities will include supporting the activities of a fifty (50) person sales force, monitoring various reports, as well as review of bids and contracts. This position acts as the primary information resource regarding product information for all Salter products and competitive offerings.

Qualified candidates will have a bachelor’s degree in business or a closely related field. Possess excellent communication, planning and organizational skills, with attention to detail. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage a complex network of relationships within the organization. A scientific background or course work would be desirable. Computer proficiency required.
