We are conducting a search for a proven, well rounded industry leader to join
our organization as a Regional Vice President - Operations.

Position Overview

Responsible for managing the operations and profitability of assigned region, while ensuring the utmost in customer satisfaction. Responsible for direct supervision, development and mentoring of Area AV Directors, AV Directors and Rental Managers. Contribute to and implement overall corporate business strategies.

Position Accountabilities

Financial Management
Provide leadership and guidance in revenue growth, cost management and other financial areas. Conduct periodic financial reviews at each location and work with location managers to ensure proper business planning procedures are followed. Develop annual budgets for all locations in region. Develop region-wide programs that improve efficiency and effectiveness through shared labor, equipment and industry knowledge.

Organizational Leadership
Provide organizational leadership and guidance through mentoring and developing managers at hotel and rental locations. Ensure execution of all company initiatives. Make on site visits to each location on a periodic basis to ensure location adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and appropriate business practices. Utilize appropriate technologies to communicate promptly and coordinate activities throughout the region. Demonstrate examples of outstanding customer service and response.

People Development
Manage significant human resource related issues within region, including selection, performance management, salary administration, progressive discipline, training and development and strategic human resources planning. Coach location managers in how to create and maintain a positive employee relations environment, including strategies to address employee concerns, facilitate team development, and implement company training and development initiatives.

Account Management
Establish and maintain strong working relationships with hotel executives and staff. Be aware of the competition, conduct price comparison analysis, and recommend new hotel prices and price increases. Work with the RVP of Sales to coordinate renewal activities for hotels and share opportunities to acquire new hotel contracts. Conduct annual business reviews with hotel executives, and provide prompt resolution of major location or region-wide issues. Coordinate and manage hotel openings in region.

Information Management & Reporting
Use all available data to manage the business effectively. Analyze labor management and billing compliance on an ongoing basis. Complete standard and as-needed reports accurately and on time. Standard reports include monthly business summaries of current sales, 90-day forecast, cost management issues, and accounts receivable updates. 'As needed' reports will include analyses and action planning around key corporate wide initiatives. Provide operational information to RVP of Sales on a timely basis for completion of new hotel and hotel renewal models.

Asset Management
Create and implement strategies to maximize asset utilization in the region. Prepare capital expenditure (capex) requests utilizing the appropriate model.
Job Requirements

·Equivalent experience: Current RVPs, GM or Regional Directors

·7-10 years of operations experience, 3-5 years of high level audio visual industry and/or hospitality industry operations management experience

·Demonstrated excellent leadership and customer relationship management skills

·BA degree, marketing/business preferred

·Strong written and oral communication skills
