Implemantation Consultant

Position Summary

This position within Workstream's Services team is responsible for supporting customer implementations, upgrades and migrations. Job activities include assisting Project Managers with day to day project activities.  It is expected that the Implementation Consultant will be the expert on Workstream products and the customer's requirements, methodologies and processes. This role would be entirely customer facing and responsible for maintaining the health of the project and issue escalation to the Project Manager. This position will be remote based, with travel as needed, in addition to customer travel up to 75%.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

· Participate in project activities from kick off to launch, using Workstream implementation methodology and tools.

· Gather and document customer requirements.

· Support Project Managers and others to conduct requirements analysis and scope out design capabilities within the product.

· Conduct day to day project activities with the customer, both onsite and remotely, including managing to assigned project deliverables and project plan, participating in weekly status meetings and maintaining status reports, assisting with customer meetings and minutes, identifying and escalating project risk items and issues, and conducting any other required project responsibilities.

· Perform functional product training, configuration assistance, functional and system testing activities, issues resolution and data mapping.

· Provide customer as appropriate with best practices and assist with process mapping and process redesign using our product as a tool in their business strategies.

· Develop a deep functional knowledge of all areas within the Workstream products.

· Maintain exceptional customer relations to ensure the success of the project and the account.

· Participate in team projects that enhance the quality or efficiency of our practice.

· Be available to the customers at extended hours as needed.

· Maintain a billable rate of at least 80%, and participate in special projects to assist other departments within the organization as needed; if not currently assigned to full capacity customer assignments. 

Education and Experience

· Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree.

· At least one year working experience in project implementations, preferable HRIS/ERP or similar HR systems.

· Exceptional customer facing skills.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

· Experience and knowledge of human resources planning practices.

· Ability to use or quickly learn project management tools, such as MS Project, issue tracking systems and deliverable templates.

· Ability to work under remote management.

· Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Additional Information

· Must be able and willing to travel within the United States at least 75%.This position does not include relocation costs.  We cannot sponsor H-1 products.
