VP of Operations

Momentum Telecom, Inc. is a fast-paced, aggressive mid-sized telecommunications company that has shown consistent revenue growth year after year. We offer CLEC (Competitive Local Exchange Carrier) telephone service, innovative products/services through VoIP and provide data and video to new developments and multi dwelling units.

 

Momentum Telecom, Inc. is looking for a Vice President of Operations to lead our Customer Service, Technical Support, and Network Engineering teams, support our software applications function and foster carrier relationships.  This role will be responsible for enhancing and executing operational departments in order to enable the organization to stay ahead of growth demands and customer expectations.  This role will be a highly visible and strategic role within our organization and will be expected to provide strong leadership and team development skills in order to ensure strong relationships and develop a cohesive team and aligned focus across the organization.

 

The successful candidate will possess the following:

· 10 years of successful senior level management experience with significant experience in managing operations of a CLEC or integrated provider of voice, video and data services to residential or business clients.

· Extensive expertise and demonstrated experience with managing and delivering technology solutions.

· Proven successful track record in leading an organization through developing, implementing and integrating new technologies from research and development to successful production.

· Ability to establish and articulate key objectives, goals, strategies, as well as track and measure results.

· Ability to build and motivate a team and achieve high expectations.

· Strong negotiating and consensus building abilities.

· Ability to establish and maintain excellent inter department communication so that roles, requirements, dependencies, and work processes are clearly articulated and understood.

· Excellent verbal and written communications skills with all levels of the organization.

· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Industrial Engineering or equivalent business experience required.  Master’s degree a plus.

· Travel as required.
