Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and driven individual to build a successful team providing financial support to The Arc of Anchorage, a non-profit organization committed to promoting community integration and quality of life for children and adults who experience developmental disabilities, behavioral health issues, or deafness. We envision a community that recognizes and embraces people of all abilities. Our mission is to encourage and celebrate the potential of people who experience disabilities. Use your operational skills to make a difference in your community. In this position you will direct all operations of a busy donation center including management of all staff, drivers, phone reps and office personnel. Managing relationships with donors, board of directors, community and buyer.
Position Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and a minimum of 2 years supervisory/management experience. Education requirements may be substituted with relevant experience on a year for year basis. Required Skills: positive attitude; previous management experience; diplomacy; proficiency with Microsoft Excel; excellent verbal and written communication skills; and excellent multi-tasking skills. An Arc application must be submitted to be considered for any position.
