Program Director I
Charles R. Drew University of Medicine and Science is a private, non-profit entity founded in 1966. The University is located in Los Angeles, California, and provides services for a community of 1.5 million. We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the following position:

The Program Director I will oversee the administration of the Los Angeles HIV/AIDS Public Health Research Center (PHRC): ensure compliance with funding agency requirements; plan programs; implement the strategic plan; policy development; evaluation of administrative and program activities; assist with administering domestic and international programs; assist with grant development and IRB submissions; analyze data and prepare reports; serve as the liaison to the Community Advisory Board and Scientific Advisory Board; represent the Center in its relationship with the University and other organizations; and plan and organize Center events.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (Master’s preferred) and five years related experience. Excellent writing and communications skills. Experience with grant writing. PC proficient in Microsoft Office.
