Administrative/Research Assistant (Dev Asst II)

Childrens Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) is a special place where children have been cared for and cured for more than 100 years. The CHLA Foundation has a position open in the Donor Information Services department for a Development Assistant II.The Administrative/Research Assistant provides confidential and diverse administrative and computer support for the Development Research staff and conducts basic research for the prospect research team. This position is the core of the department and plays a key in maintaining external and internal relations. Will also assist the Assistant Vice President and the Associate Directors of Development Research.

***NOTE*** This position is located in our Glendale, CA offices

Qualifications: Requires 2-5 years of administrative secretary and Internet research experience. Fundraising or public relations experience is a plus. AA Degree, 2 years of college or equivalent experience preferred.

Skills: Position requires a self-starter with outstanding organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple assignments with minimum supervision. Must be professional, personable and able to communicate with a diverse audience. Must be able to meet deadlines. Must be detail-oriented and accuracy with numbers is required. Good writing skills required. Computer experience required, including knowledge of e-mail, MS Word, Excel PowerPoint, Internet Research and databases. Fundraising or public relations experience is a plus.
