BASIC ENLISTMENT REQUIREMENTS:Be a U.S. citizen or a legal alien capable of becoming a U.S. citizen within one enlistment period. The military can assist with citizenship for members. If you have no prior military service (17 to 35 years of age) you must be a high school senior, high school graduate, or have a GED Prior military members must be able to complete 20 years of military service before age 60 Take and pass the Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery Test (ASVAB) Be morally suitable for military service with no use of illegal drugs and no serious law violations

INTERVIEW:
Call or email us to schedule an interview with you. This interview is to determine your interests and goals.
ASVAB TESTING:
The Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery is a written exam given to everyone wanting to enter the military. The test rates your aptitude in four areas: Mechanics, Administration, General, and Electrical. These results will determine which types of jobs are best suited for you.
PHYSICAL EXAMINATION:
All applicants are given a physical exam. Our physicians will determine if you are physically qualified for military service.
JOB SELECTION:
Your ASVAB scores and physical profile will be put into the computer to generate a listing of jobs you are qualified to select from.
ENLISTMENT:
Once all documents are signed to enlist in the Air National Guard an officer will administer the Oath of Enlistment to you. This is your formal induction into the military. Family and friends are invited to share this important step in your life.
TRAINING:
After enlistment into the Air National Guard you will be scheduled to attend six weeks of Basic Military Training (BMT). After BMT you will attend a technical school for training in the career field you selected. After technical school you will return home and attend training one weekend a month (called UTAs) and two weeks every year (Annual Training).

Maintains aircraft, support equipment (SE), and forms and records. Performs production supervisor, flight chief, expediter, crew chief, support, aero repair, and maintenance functions.
(48Gx) Aerospace Medicine Physician
Administers aerospace medicine program; conducts medical examinations and provides medical care for flyers, missile crews, and others with special standards of medical qualification.
(2A6X1A) Aerospace Propulsion, Jet Engines
Inspects, maintains, modifies, tests, and repairs propellers, turboprop and turboshaft engines, jet engines, small gas turbine engines, and engine ground support equipment (SE). Manages aerospace propulsion functions and activities.
2A6X2) Aerospace Ground Equipment
Maintains aerospace ground equipment (AGE) to support aircraft systems or subsystems. Manages AGE functions and activities.
(2T2X1) Air Transportation
Performs and manages air transportation activities. Plans, schedules and processes eligible air cargo passengers and mail. Loads and unloads aircraft. Prepares and maintains air movement records and reports. Performs fleet services on aircraft.
(2A6X6) Aircraft Electrical And Environmental Systems
Performs and supervises aircraft electrical and environmental (E & E) functions and activities. Troubleshoots, inspects, removes, installs, repairs, modifies, overhauls, and operates aircraft E & E systems, components, and associated support equipment.
(2A6X4) Aircraft Fuel Systems
Removes, repairs, inspects, installs, and modifies aircraft fuel systems including integral fuel tanks, bladder cells, and external tanks. Maintains associated hardware and equipment.
(2A6X5) Aircraft Hydraulic Systems
Troubleshoots, removes, repairs, overhauls, inspects, and installs aircraft hydraulic systems and components, including support equipment (SE).
(1A2X1) Aircraft Loadmaster
Accomplishes loading and off loading aircraft functions; performs pre-flight and post-flight of aircraft and aircraft systems. Performs loadmaster aircrew functions, computes weight and balance and other mission specific qualification duties. Provides for safety and comfort of passengers and troops, and security of cargo, mail, and baggage during flight. Conducts cargo and personnel airdrops. Supervises loadmaster activities and related functions, including aircraft loading and off loading activities, cargo handling, and restraint.

Designs, welds, heat treats, fabricates, and machines precision tools, components, and assemblies for aerospace weapon systems and related support equipment (SE). (2A7X3) Aircraft Structural Maintenance
Designs, repairs, modifies and fabricates aircraft, metal, plastic, composite, advanced composite, low observables, and bonded structural parts and components. Applies preservative treatments to aircraft, missiles, and support equipment (SE).
(1T1X1) Aircrew Life Support
Manages and performs inspections, maintenance, and adjustments of aircrew life support and chemical defense equipment. Supervises and conducts aircrew shelter processing, chemical defense training and life support continuation training. (2A1X2) Avionics Guidance And Control Systems
Performs and supervises intermediate-level maintenance activities. Troubleshoots and repairs avionics guidance and control systems, aircraft components, and associated in-shop support equipment.
(4B0X1) Bioenvironmental Engineering
Performs and manages bioenvironmental engineering activities in the fields of industrial hygiene, occupational health, radiological health, and environmental protection to ensure healthful working conditions are maintained and that the environment is not adversely affected by Air Force operations. Supervises and performs bioenvironmental engineering medical readiness activities.
(46NX) Clinical Nurse
Plans, implements, and evaluates nursing care for DOD beneficiaries. Within scope of practice, provides professional nursing care, coordinates health services in an interdisciplinary and collaborative manner, acts as patient advocate, and advance desired health outcomes through patient and family education. (1C3X1) Command Post
Manages and performs activities within command posts (CP), operations centers, rescue coordination centers, and command centers. Provides command, control, communications, and information support. Receives and relays command and control (C2) instructions and records, and collects, processes, and submits manual and automated data products. Establishes procedures for operational reports and the status of resources and training system (SORTS) report. Reports international treaty compliance information. Uses communications systems and consoles to affect positive control of assigned forces and weapons systems. Ensures compliance with CP policies and procedures.
(2A1X3) Communication And Navigation Systems
Performs and supervises intermediate and organizational maintenance activities. Troubleshoots and repairs avionics communication and navigation systems, aircraft components, and associated support equipment.
(6C0X1) Contracting
Manages, performs, and administers contracting functions for commodities, services, and construction using simplified acquisition procedures, negotiation, and other approved methods. Uses automated contracting systems to prepare, process, and analyze transactions and products. Acts as advisor, buyer, negotiator, administrator, and contracting officer. (4Y0X1) Dental Assistant
Performs paraprofessional tasks and oral hygiene duties. Supervises dental assistant functions.
(47Gx) DENTISTS
Examines, diagnoses, and treats diseases, abnormalities, injuries, and dysfunctional disorders of the oral cavity and its associated structures. Administers dental service policy, including establishing and maintaining dental health standards.

Installs, operates, and modifies electrical generating power production plants and equipment, and aircraft arresting systems.
(44Fx) FAMILY PRACTICE PHYSICIAN
Provides continuing, comprehensive health maintenance and medical care to entire family regardless of sex, age, or type of problem. Directs outpatient and inpatient care and services.

Performs aircraft visual inspections and in-flight duties. Operates and monitors engine and aircraft systems controls, panels, indicators and devices. Manages flight engineer functions and activities.
(46Fx) FLIGHT NURSE
Provides comprehensive nursing care for all types of patients during aeromedical evacuation and airlift flights. Coordinates with and makes recommendations to staff agencies concerning aeromedical plans.

Maintains, and operates petroleum, missile, alternative and cryogenic facilities and equipment. Receives, stores, and issues, petroleum fuels and cryogenics products. Performs quality analysis on petroleum and cryogenics products. Performs operator maintenance on fuels handling equipment and facilities. (4T0X1) Medical Laboratory Technician Tests and analyzes specimens of human origin and other substances by established scientific laboratory techniques to aid in diagnosing, treating, and preventing diseases or to support medical research; and supervises medical laboratory activities. Manages, constructs, repairs, and modifies structural systems and wooden, masonry, metal, and concrete buildings. Fabricates and repairs components of buildings, utility systems, and real property equipment. Ensures compliance with environmental regulations.
(2S0X1) Supply Management
Supervises and performs item and monetary accounting and inventory stock control, financial planning, and funds control. Computes requirement, determines allowance, and researches and identifies supplies and equipment requirements. Supervises and performs operations involved in storage, inspection, identification, and receipt of property. Responsible for facility safety and security. Conducts inventories. Operates automated equipment, special purpose government vehicles, and materiel handling equipment.
(2A7X4) Survival Equipment
Disassembles, assembles, inspects, fabricates, cleans, repairs, and packs aerospace weapon system components such as protective clothing, upholstery, thermal radiation barriers, protective covers, flotation equipment, emergency evacuation systems, and parachutes.
(3E4X1) Utilities Systems
Installs, inspects, repairs, and manages water and waste water distribution systems and components, storm and sanitary sewage collection systems, and gas distribution systems. Complies with environmental and safety regulations.
