Wire Harness Assembler - Overbraid Operator

Operate over braid machines to apply nickel and peek materials to wire harnesses, be familiar with machinery.
Read illustrated planning. Perform daily and weekly machine maintenance including lubrication, cleaning and vacuuming. Verify correct leads. Assembly of open and closed bundle wire harnesses and junction boxes to blue prints and specifications. Installation of electrical connectors, pins and contacts. Wire lay-up and routing. Installation of DR, sleeving and boots. Installation of sealant. The use of an electrical analyzer, computerized identification machines and calibrated tools. Work with nickel, steel and copper over braid materials, chafe guards and peek material.
Experience operating over-braid machines preferred, or at least a working knowledge of machinery in a manufacturing setting. Must be able to bend, stoop, and lift up to 50 lbs frequently, standing 90% of the day. Must have good eye hand coordination and finger dexterity. Ability to work in a team environment. High school diploma or equivalent, plus Goodrich Valpar Test.
