This position is located the Montgomery, AL facility.


 


Supervises the Quality Staff

Trains the Quality Department personnel on quality systems and requirements and engineering disciplines/issues

Performs Engineering analyses to solve problems and cost efficiencies

Plans budgets, product launches, and control plans to ensure maximum quality at the best cost

Maintains positive customer relations

Supports SDT activities to achieve successful model launches

Maintains vendor relations and control

Assures good housekeeping throughout the Department

Coordinates Product Engineering activities including Engineering changes

Supervises and coordinates cost reduction activities

Gives technical advice for specialized issues including quality, fixture design, and costing

Completes Department reports, as required, on time

Performs all other tasks, as requested, by the Plant Manager and/or whatever may be necessary to provide the Customer with high quality, low cost, on-time products


Has the authority and responsibility to stop the production line should a safety or quality issue appear

EDUCATION REQUIRED / PREFERRED:
 
BS Degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience required
Korean and English language spoken and read preferred
3-5 years automotive background required
ASQC/CQM/CQE certification preferred
5-7 years of quality engineering experience preferred
