Maintenance Technician for Split Second Shift in Automotive Stamping

Maintenance Technician Split/Second Shift for Automotive Stamping Facility

Job Description
This position will allow you to utilize your ability to troubleshoot, program and repair robots, PLCs, weld guns, pneumatics and sensors. Besides the maintenance of equipment, a major component of this position is to prevent failures by suggesting and implementing improvement plans. This is a great opportunity to open up your career to expansion and more rewarding work. We are located in Northeast Alabama. Duties Include:


Teach, troubleshoot and repair damaged robot components

Repair resistance welding components such as weld guns an electrodes, identify and troubleshoot failed welders, set up parameters, troubleshoot bad welds.

Troubleshoot, program, edit and repair PLCs, wiring inputs and outputs.

Install and repair hosing, fittings, cylinders, manifolds and solenoids for pneumatics.


Requirements
We are very interested in talking to candidates with the following qualifications:


Must have six-axis robot programming experience.

Strong troubleshooting skills. Experience programming PLCs

Highly automated welding and assembly equipment and processes experience needed

Resistance and MIG welding experience desired
