Die Casting Manager

Summary:  “Hands On” Supervisor to coordinate and assist the activities of workers engaged in setting up, installing, operating, repairing, and maintaining machinery and equipment used to die cast both zinc and aluminum parts used in various industries.  Knowledge of Exact Software’s Job BOSS would be very beneficial but not required. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders to workers and assigns duties.Establishes or adjusts work procedures to meet production schedules.Recommends measures to improve production methods, equipment performance, and quality of product.Suggests changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work crew.Analyzes and resolves work problems, or assists workers in solving work problems.Interprets company policies to workers and enforces safety regulations.Studies production schedules and estimates worker hour requirements for completion of job assignments.Maintains time and production records.Involved in the electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic maintenance and repair of facility equipment.Programming of robots and related equipment such as robot controllers and programmable controllers.Confers with other supervisors to coordinate activities of individual departments.
